Large design-build project to provide Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing at Fort Bliss, Texas in support of a Combat Aviation Brigade. The project in total required the design, manufacture, installation and completion of 353,000 square feet of new space.
Four 3-Story barrack buildings were manufactured off-site utilizing modular construction methods, and transported to the site where they were set-up and finished-out. The steel-frame buildings meet force protection measures for blast-proof, progressive collapse and anti-terrorism standards. The buildings are have a stucco exterior with masonry skirt and individual window canopies. Internally, the buildings feature self-contained living quarters. Each unit has its own bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.
