Increased operational requirements and personnel increases at Camp Pendleton left the installation with a shortage of facility space. Palomar engineered and built a temporary compound utilizing accelerated construction methods in three phases to provide Camp Pendleton with 44 buildings and over 52,000 SF of built space for operational use and mission support in just 107 days.
In Phase One, Palomar designed, built, delivered and installed within 30 days of notice to proceed five office buildings totaling 7,200 SF. Utilizing concurrent site development and manufacturing efficiencies Palomar was able to deliver over 20,000 SF of quality building space for Phase Two just 20 days later. Phase Three closed out the project with the final 25,000 SF being delivered and finished out to give Camp Pendleton a total of 25 Billeting, 5 Office, 3 Classroom, 9 Restroom/Shower and 2 Laundry buildings.
