Palomar Modular Buildings has released a case study for the completed construction of the new the City of Mesquite Westlake Tennis Pro Shop building in Mesquite, Texas. The modular retail building was designed specifically for the City of Mesquite, replacing the older existing structure with a modern, energy-efficient and aesthetically pleasing facility in line with the recent and ongoing improvements to the tennis center.
The single-module, 600 square foot ADA-compliant building’s floor plan includes a sales area, clerks area, office, storage rooms and two restrooms to serve the patrons of the tennis center. The attractive building features handsome wood and stone look fiber cement exterior siding, granite countertops, durable vinyl plank flooring with the look of real wood and a dark bronze aluminum awning. The building is designed for energy-efficiency with dual-pane fixed low E tempered windows, LED lighting, programmable thermostat, occupant sensor controls for interior lighting and photocell controls for exterior lighting.
The majority of the construction was completed off-site at Palomar’s manufacturing facility in DeSoto, Texas. The building was then be shipped to Mesquite for installation and final finish.
