Fort Worth & Western Railroad needed a planning and management facility at their Hodge Yard location in Fort Worth, Texas. The customer wanted an architecturally aesthetic building set on grade to house their planning and management offices.
A stem wall foundation was employed to set the building on grade. The building is comprised of 3 steel frame modules crane set on a permanent concrete stem wall foundation. Many of the size and finish options required more work than normal happened on site, including installation of the roof top units, parapet extension, building smart siding, reglet system, EIFS, collection boxes, downspouts and paint. The project timeline was a total of 8 weeks from plant to final installation.
