Adams Elementary School Portable Classrooms

Oklahoma City developed the OCMAPS school program that included hundreds of construction, transportation, and technology projects to benefit Oklahoma City’s public school students. Still, enrollment projections in the 2001 bond measure did not anticipate the significant population growth on the city’s south side. By the time the bond measure funding was available, school administrators for Adams Elementary School had weeks before the start of the 2014 school year. Palomar received the order for two 24-foot x 64-foot portable classroom buildings with four classrooms and a restroom in early June. The school district needed the classrooms in place at the beginning of August, leaving Palomar with just 8 weeks to manufacture, transport, and install the modular classroom buildings.
