Oklahoma City developed the OCMAPS school program that included hundreds of construction, transportation and technology projects for the benefit of Oklahoma City’s public school students, but enrollment projections in the 2001 bond measure did not anticipate the large population growth that occurred on the south side of the city. By the time the bond measure funding was available school administrators for Prairie Queen Elementary School had weeks before the start of the 2014 school year. Palomar received the order for two 24’ x 64’ portable classroom buildings with four classrooms and a restroom in early June. The school district needed the classrooms in place at the beginning of August, leaving Palomar with just 8 weeks to manufacture, transport and install the modular classroom buildings.
