Golden Tree Restaurants, LLC was seeking a faster build for their rapidly expanding pad-site restaurant franchises. Palomar was able to take their prototype restaurant floor plans and create a multi-section design that provides an on-grade installation with an excavated reverse slope concrete perimeter foundation and spot piers. The pad site is designed and permitted, the parking and driveways poured, and the foundation excavated and poured while the modular restaurant is being designed and built in the Palomar factory in DeSoto, TX. When the site is ready, the building sections are trucked to the site, craned onto the concrete perimeter walls and spot piers, and weather in. The crane-set and dry-in is usually accomplished in 1-2 days so that site subcontractors can immediately get their crews to work hooking up utilities, installing kitchen and dining equipment, and completing the interior finish-out.
